Chillin’ in the Financial District in downtown Manhattan. This is the famous Wall Street Bull or also called the Bowling Green Bull. This is a 7,000 pound bronze sculpture by Arturo Di Modica which cost him $300,00 to build (non-commissioned work BTW. all out of his pocket). He built it for ‘Black Monday’ which refers to Monday, October 19, 1987. This is the day the stock market crashed. He gave it to the people of NYC as a Christmas gift.

If you knew how hard it is to get a picture of this bull with no one around it, let alone one with just my kicks and the bull…..lets just say it’s nearly impossible. But, I succeeded with a lot of LUCK and PATIENCE!…PATIENCE=2HRS and 36 pictures before I got the right ones!!
